The Easterwood Family Films, no. 11 – Easterwood Family Scenes (1957)

This home movie captures scenes of the Carl Easterwood family in 1957. This was the first film the family made with their 8mm camera, and it includes scenes of the Easterwood home and wheat farm, family vacation, a parade, and the family riding horses and in horse carts.

The Bentsen Film Collection, no. 6 – Family Garden and Texas Citrus Fiesta Parade

This home movie captures scenes of the Bentsen family posing in a thriving flower garden among rose bushes and papaya trees. Views of the house and grounds are also recorded, as well as footage of the children on horseback. Scenes of floats lining up for the Texas Citrus Fiesta parade are later included.

The Bentsen Film Collection, no. 5 – Citrus Queen Pageant and Parade

This home movie captures scenes of a 1940s Citrus Queen Pageant and parade, part of the Texas Citrus Fiesta in Mission, Texas. Pageant contestants and their escorts walk down the stage in their gowns in front of a large grapefruit backdrop. Brief scenes of the Parade of Oranges are also included.
