Description:
Home movie of the 1933-1934 Century of Progress World's Fair in Chicago. It begins with a shot of a man posing near a bustling Michigan Avenue and entering the fair. The home movie then appears to be spliced together with a silent, commercially produced film about the fair but this has yet to be verified. Highlights include an animatronic tyrannosaurus rex, a Radio Flyer sculpture and a building titled "Infant Incubators - with living babies." The home movie ends with a shot of young Danley playing on Hermitage Avenue in Chicago's Lake View neighborhood.
